The National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Initiative for Good Governance, Amb. Musa Mohammed Tsoken, has claimed that about 90 per cent of Nigerians are increasingly expressing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid to continue in office beyond 2027.
Tsoken said the growing mobilisation for the President was evident in the activities of youths, grassroots organisations, community stakeholders and other supporters across different parts of the country.
According to him, the growing support for Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda has strengthened the resolve of the initiative to intensify grassroots engagement and provide citizens with information on the administration’s policies and programmes.
He said the organisation would continue to engage Nigerians through peaceful and democratic means, while encouraging constructive conversations about governance, development and the performance of the Tinubu administration.
“We are encouraged by the growing support and mobilisation we see across different parts of Nigeria. Many young people, groups and stakeholders continue to express their support for the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Tsoken said.
He added that the emerging mobilisation had motivated members of the initiative to continue taking the message of the administration’s programmes and achievements to communities across the country.
Tsoken stressed that the group remained committed to peaceful democratic participation, grassroots mobilisation and respectful engagement with citizens ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said the approach was intended to strengthen citizens’ understanding of government policies while creating room for constructive discussions about the country’s development trajectory.
“2027 is getting closer, and our support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains strong,” he stated.
The initiative’s position comes as political activities and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to intensify across Nigeria.
However, the claim that 90 per cent of Nigerians support President Tinubu was not accompanied by details of an independent opinion poll or methodology in the statement.
