All Progressives Congress Chieftain and Adviser to Kwara Governor on Political Matters Prince Abubakar Suleiman Sai Kayi has announced a mamoth rally for the party gubernatorial candidate Rt.Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi as part of activities to galvanise support ahead of the 2027 elections.

Slated for Saturday 7th November, 2026, Sai Kayi said the rally is projected to get at least 20,000 Kwarans on the streets marching in support of the continuity of the ruling party at the helms of affairs in the state.

The organizer noted that youth and women groups, community associations including transport unions have expressed interest in joining the rally to show their support for all the party candidates in the 2027 polls.

Sai Kayi added that Kwarans have taken ownership of the 2027 elections as a “collective fight of the citizens against agents of darkness who want to drag the state backward.”

He said the catchphrase ‘Iwaju La Nlo’ has caught fire in all the senatorial districts because it reflected the ideal of good governance, inclusion, and sustainable development across all the demography of the state.

According to the Governor’s aide, the mother-of-all-rally is community-driven and thousands of non-partisan Kwarans will be joining the movement as a show of solidarity for the party ahead of the general elections slated for January and February next year.

He said the ruling party is grateful for the support of the general public, assuring all interested participants of adequate security as they march from street to street on November 7th in Ilorin, the state capital.
