The certification will bolster RKK Group’s commitment to providing affordable, sustainable, and reliable energy access to Africans, supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 and 8.

These goals focus on ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all and promoting sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.

Speaking about the certification process, Mr. Aderemi Rasheed Kilaso, the Group Chief Executive Officer of RKK Group, emphasized the importance of adhering to Good International Industry Practices (GIIP) and international standards, including ISO, to drive innovation.

He highlighted the development of the iRESS solar backpack—a multifunctional backpack equipped with a foldable solar panel, lithium phosphate battery (LifeP04), inverter system, and accessories—as a prime example of the company’s commitment to sustainable solutions.

She particularly mentioned the Safetainability4Orphanage program, which aims to provide orphaned children with the physical and emotional support they need to thrive, thereby “Rebuilding Lives and Reassuring Futures.”
