I have been to Nigeria off and on for the past 3 to 4 years. What I have found here in Nigeria breaks my heart – I’ve seen extreme poverty, illnesses that are treatable but medicines are not affordable. I’ve seen the effects of insecurity and bad governance.
And while I observe all of these things that goes on in Nigeria, I begin to ask and chime along with the natives and ask “Is Nigeria under a curse?”
When I ask the question is Nigeria under a curse, I am referring to the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28 in the Bible. Those curses listed in Deuteronomy 28 are the main ways that we can discern who the truth Israelites are.
Are you still think that only so-called African Americans were the people of Deuteronomy 28 until I came to Nigeria and I realized that Nigerians fit the bill of being the people that the Most High Yah is talking about in Deuteronomy 28.
As I turn on with the natives and ponder why Nigeria seems to be under a curse, the Most High YAH revealed to me that Nigeria is indeed a nation that is under a curse!
Nigeria is under a curse because on the coast of Badagry in Lagos, the majority of slaves were sold into bondage in what is known as the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
The Father YAH began to show me the sufferings of our ancestors went through as they were sold into slavery by their own Brothers. The cries of The souls of the people that threw themselves overboard off of the slave ships so that they would not become slaves to evil wicked men still cry out from the Waters of the Atlantic to this day!
Many nations here on the continent that had a part in the slave trade have publicly repented and apologized for their part in the slave trade.
But the one country that sold the most amount of slaves from the continent – Nigeria – has never repented, apologized, or even try to make amends for what their ancestors did to our ancestors.
Not one chieftain, not one president, not one prime minister or leader in Nigeria has ever publicly acknowledged or apologized for her role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
NIGERIA has the blood of our Ancestors on their hands!
Father YAH has shown me because Nigeria has been stiff necked and stubborn and refuse to repent for its role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade, the nation has tasted it’s form of slavery – from the hands of their own people!
What the Nigerian ancestors made happen to our ancestors Father Yah has made happen to the Descendants of the people that sold us into Babylonian captivity!
In order for this curse to be lifted off of Nigeria, Nigerian leaders from the chieftains all the way up to the president must repent for its part in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
If the leaders do not lead the way in this Nationwide repentance to Afro Descendants of Slaves, Nigeria will continue to suffer and be treated like the slaves in America were treated.
Now you have leaders in office all across Nigeria who are mere slave taskmasters and most of the population of Nigeria are treated as slaves. I do not say this with any Glee or joy in my heart – as a matter of fact I’m very saddened by this all.
Because our ancestors were sold into slavery, our ancestors’ suffering was much. The trauma was extensive, brutal and ongoing throughout generations. The torment was unbearable and the after effect and aftermath of slavery up on what is called the black family is felt to this day!
Just as chattel slavery decimated the people of African descent born on American soil, so is the Nigerian political system, classism, corruption and even its religionS serves only to place the people into religious, spiritual, economic, and political slavery to this day.
The Spirit of the Sellout is so strong here in Nigeria! It’s in the bloodline: because your ancestors were greedy and power hungry enough to sell their own brothers and sisters into slavery, that same Spirit of the Sellout runs through the veins of your leaders – religious and political.
Because the Spirit of the Sellout is in the bloodline, this is why it is so easy for your leaders to sell you out, the People.
It is not until the leaders come to themselves and realize the wickedness in their hearts, and learn of the evil and corruption that was encoded in the DNA of their ancestors. Once the leaders begin to realize how wicked their ancestors were, how they operated in wickedness for centuries, and repent?
Then and only then saith the Most High Yah will the Nigerian curse be lifted and Nigeria will be great again.
He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to His People!
