Assault On Corps Member: NYSC Commends Kwara Gov. Swipe-Action

The National Youth Service Corps, Kwara State has commended the prompt and appropriate sanction exhibited against the Teacher involved in assault on corps member in the state.

Why responding to the atrocious incident on behalf of the management of the scheme in the state, the State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa lauded the position of the Kwara State government and actionable measure put in place to prevent future occurrences.

The State Coordinator who has earlier described the action of the teacher as barbaric against innocent Corps member whose intention is to add value in state, however, explained that the apt action taken by the government has compelled equity and further reiterated the position of government on security and welfare of Corps members in the state.

The NYSC boss also appreciate governor AbdulRasaq Abdulrahman led administration for a continued support for the scheme and therefore assured uninterrupted delivery of the mandate of the scheme in the State.

The state coordinator hereby charged all Corps members in the state to be law abiding and maximise the period of national service to contribute their quota to the advancement of the state, enjoining them to build on the various achievement of the predecessors.
