Tsoken Hails David Sabo Kente’s Statesmanship, Sacrifice for Taraba Unity

1 Mins read

Amb. Muhammed Musa Tsoken has applauded the spirit of statesmanship and party loyalty demonstrated by David Sabo Kente following his decision to withdraw from the Taraba governorship race in support of Governor Agbu Kefas.

Tsoken, who is also the National President of the APC Initiative For Good Governance, described Kente’s action as a rare display of political maturity, sacrifice, and patriotism aimed at strengthening unity and stability within the political landscape of Taraba State.

Speaking in a statement issued on Wednesday, Tsoken said Chief Kente had once again proven himself to be a committed party man and a leader who places collective interest above personal ambition.

According to him, “Chief David Sabo Kente has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities by taking a bold and selfless decision in the interest of peace, unity, and political stability in Taraba State.

His action is a clear reflection of statesmanship and deep commitment to the progress of the people.”

He noted that Kente’s withdrawal and endorsement of Governor Kefas would further consolidate support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promote stronger collaboration among political stakeholders in the state.

Tsoken added that the decision would strengthen political harmony ahead of future elections and serve as an example for other politicians across the country on the need to prioritise unity, development, and national interest over personal aspirations.

He commended Chief Kente for his longstanding support for President Tinubu and his contributions towards mobilising grassroots support through the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and APC-IGG platforms.

The APC support group leader further expressed optimism that the new political understanding would usher in greater development, peace, and inclusive governance in Taraba State, urging party faithful and supporters to remain united and committed to the advancement of the state and the nation at large.
