Ekiti Traditional Rulers Rejoice Over Oyebanji’s Re-election, Applaud Achievements

As a result of the re election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO, three Ekiti state traditional rulers, in persons of The OWa of Oke – AKO Ekiti HRM Oba Olanrewaju Bamidele, Olanrewaju Oni,.

The Obanla of Ipao Ekiti HRM Oba Pastor Williams Oluseyi Ehinmodupin Afotitogbade 1 and the Regent of Usin Ekiti Her Royal Majesty Wuraola Edwards have all rejoiced and congratulated the Governor, saying it was his fantastic performance in his first four years that earned him the second term re election by the people of Ekiti state.

They then prayed for his success in his second term as he will be piloting the affairs of the state.

They also commended him on his achievements ranging from the provision of social amenities such as good road network, prompt payment of Monarch salaries and various emoluments as well as provision of security and employment opportunities for the youths in their various communities.

Like Oliver Twist, They however called on Governor Oyebanji not to forget them in their communities by meeting up with their demands in other areas of their needs.

In other related development, some traditional chiefs in Oke Ayedun Ekiti have congratulated Governor BAO and also thanked their Monarch Oba Femi Aribisala for his good leadership style since his ascension to the throne as The Alaaye of Oke Ayedun Ekiti in Ikole local government.

While speaking in separate interviews, chief Mrs Funmilayo Racheal Aribisala the Ewi of Idemo Oke Ayedun Ekiti, High chief Sule Ogundare the Odofin of Oke Ayedun, Otunba Alaaye Olu Ogunleye the Otunba of Oke Ayedun and chief Mrs Ajibola Mary Yeye Asalu congratulated HRM the traditional rulers of Oke Ayedun HRM Oba (Sir) Olufemi Aribisala (KCW) Obembe 1 on the 40th Oke Ayedun Day celebration which it’s grand finale programme will hold on Saturday September 5 2026
