A Call to Action: Prioritize Agriculture, Entrepreneurship in Education System, Ajia Tells Kwara State Govt

The President/CEO of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has urged the Kwara State government to see urgent need in prioritizing Agriculture and Entrepreneurship in its education system.

Ajia made this passionate call to action during the Youth Leaders Clinic organized by the Abuja Leadership Centre, held in Ilorin Kwara State capital.

He emphasized that Nigeria is facing significant challenges and described the situation as “hectic.”

Ajia stressed that the key to addressing these issues lies in fostering effective education and equipping students with practical skills, particularly in agriculture and entrepreneurship.

According to him, such an approach would serve as a catalyst for sustainable development in the country.

The Governor of Kwara State, represented at the event by the Hon. Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adat Modibo Kawu acknowledged Ajia’s message and expressed the government’s commitment to exploring innovative ways to improve the education system in the state.

Ajia’s message underscores the urgent need for reforms that empower the youth with knowledge and skills to drive economic growth.

Ajia noted that “By prioritizing agriculture and entrepreneurship in education, the Kwara State Government can play a vital role in shaping the future of the state and Nigeria in general.”
