Ajia Extols Baraje @ 72

The House of Representatives candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Asa/Ilorin-West Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has joined families, friends, political associates and well meaning Nigerians from far and near to celebrate an elder statesman, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje on the occasion of his 72nd birthday Anniversary.

Ajia in a statement issued and signed by the Director of Communications, Ajia Campaign Organisation, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan on Friday in Abuja described Alhaji Kawu Baraje as a consummate politician, astute administrator and an elder statesman who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Ilorin, Kwara and Nigeria n general.

The Founder of MAI Foundation noted that Alhaji Baraje is a productive individual who has served his state, Kwara and Nigeria meritoriously and effectively in various capacities.

He described the Tafida of Ilorin as a great reformer whose vast knowledge and experience could not be quantified while his legacy in the system has continued to be a reference point.

The House of Reps candidate said: “Undoubtedly, Allah has been so gracious and benevolent to Alhaji Baraje for the milestone he has attained in the political space of this country.

“I therefore prayed Allah, the most merciful and benevolent, to continue to grant the Tafida of Ilorin sound health, divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the herculean task of nation-building”, he said.
