Ajia Supports Kwara PDP Exco, All Candidates in Upcoming LGA Elections

In a move that is expected to bolster the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) chances in the upcoming Local Government Area (LGA) elections, a former gubernatorial aspirant in the 2019 election and PDP candidate for Illorin West/ Asa Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, has made a generous donations to the party’s state executive committee to be disbursed to all PDP candidates in the upcoming Local government election standing election right from Chairmanship to councilorship positions across the 16 Local Government Areas of the

In a statement, released by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, Alhaji Ajia urged the State Working Committee and the party’s teeming supporters in Kwara State to maintain their confidence and double their efforts to ensure a convincing victory in the upcoming elections.

“It is evident that we have the numbers and supporters at the grassroots. What we lacked was the commitment and sacrifice needed on election day, which was easily the reason we lost in the two previous elections. “

The generous donation, which has been transferred to the state Chairman’s account, will be promptly disbursed to the various local government chairmanship candidates of the 16 local government areas. As they will in turn distributes that of the 193 Councillors contesting the election

Alhaji Ajia also urged all party faithful to abide by the extant laws guiding the conduct of the election and ensure proper documentation of happenings before, during, and after the election day.
