The APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG) has commended Senator Ali Ndume for what it described as his unwavering commitment to promoting good governance, legislative supremacy and the rule of law in Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and National President of APC-IGG, Musa Muhammed Tsoken, praised the senator’s record of service and advocacy within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tsoken described Ndume as a seasoned lawmaker with over two decades of legislative experience, noting that he has consistently demonstrated passion for accountability and effective governance.

“Senator Ndume is a leader who stands firmly on what he believes is in the best interest of his people and Nigeria at large,” Tsoken said.

He highlighted several bills sponsored by Ndume, including the Peace Corps Establishment Bill, the Constituencies Development Fund Bill, the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, and the North East Development Commission Act, saying the initiatives underscore the senator’s dedication to national development, grassroots empowerment and regional stability.

The group also applauded Ndume’s advocacy for legislative independence and adherence to the rule of law, stating that his efforts have earned him recognition among his peers. According to APC-IGG, the senator was recently ranked third among the 109 members of the Senate in an assessment of legislative performance.

“As Nigeria continues its democratic journey, Senator Ndume’s leadership and vision remain vital to shaping a more accountable and progressive nation,” the statement added.

The group urged Nigerians to acknowledge the lawmaker’s contributions and support his continued efforts toward strengthening democratic governance in the country.
