Borno LG Elections: “I Am Highly Delighted with Process” – Governor Zulum

In today’s Local Government Elections, Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum, has cast his vote at Ajari unit 006 in Mafa town, the headquarters of Mafa local government area of Borno State.

After casting his vote, Governor Zulum spoke to journalists and expressed his satisfaction with the large turnout of voters who came to exercise their civic duties. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the timely commencement of the exercise.

“I am highly delighted with the process,” Governor Zulum said, urging the people to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise for a successful outcome.

With a peaceful conduct of the elections, Governor Zulum emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and order, ensuring a successful exercise.

The governor’s confidence in the process and the impressive voter turnout indicate a positive democratic engagement in Borno State.

The residents’ active participation in the elections demonstrates their commitment to contributing to local governance and strengthening democracy at the grassroots level.
