British Government to Assist Nigeria on Stolen Money Recovery – Deputy High Commissioner

The deputy British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Laure Beaufils has reiterated the readiness of British government to give necessary support to Buhari led administration in fighting against and most importantly in getting stolen money stocked in various British banks back to Nigeria.

 

She urged Nigeria government to always get their evidence documents intact to ease their claimed. She made this know at the press conference with Journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State, where she was hosted by the proprietor of Royal FM station Engineer Gbenga at the station conference room.

 

Beaufils also said that her government will look into any area of challenges they can support Kwara State government especially in business sectors, agriculture, infrastructure development and education.

 

She also show serious concern of British government in area of various challenges young girls are facing in our society, such as no accessibility to functional education ,sexual harassment, early marriage and other child abuse.

 

However the British envoy made it known that British government in partnership with international agencies are already working on monitoring and coming up with vaccines to tackle monkey pox disease in Nigeria and implored all the three tiers of government in Nigeria to step up the awareness to curtail the spread of the disease.
