Chief Moji Makanjuola, Ace Broadcaster Presents Laptops to Two Best Graduating Students in Oro Kingdom

In furtherance of her unwavering commitment to educational development, Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Moji Makanjuola, Executive Director of the International Society for Media in Public Health (ISMPH) and the Yeye Meto of Oro Kingdom, has presented two laptop computers to the best graduating female and male students from Oro-Ago who are proceeding to various universities.

The presentation, which underscores her passion for empowering young people through education and technology, took place during a Yuletide courtesy visit to the Oloro of Oro-Ago, His Royal Majesty, Oba Johnson Olarewaju Dada (JRM). The laptops were formally received on behalf of the community by the monarch.

Speaking at the palace, the veteran journalist and ace broadcaster described education as the most sustainable investment any society can make in its future. She noted that the donation was part of her promise to support academic excellence and encourage students of Oro Kingdom to remain focused and competitive in their educational pursuits.

According to her, the laptops were meant to ease the academic journey of the beneficiaries as they transition into university life, particularly in an era where digital literacy has become indispensable. She reaffirmed her commitment to continuous educational interventions in the kingdom, stressing that Oro-Ago must not be left behind in the global knowledge-driven world.

Receiving the laptops, the Oloro of Oro-Ago, Oba Johnson Olarewaju Dada, expressed profound gratitude to Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Makanjuola for her consistent show of love and dedication to the growth of the kingdom. The monarch described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that it would motivate other students to strive for excellence.

Oba Dada prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the donor and assured her of the community’s support in all her development-driven initiatives. He also charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the laptops and become worthy ambassadors of Oro Kingdom in their respective institutions.

The presentation has been widely applauded by community members as a heartwarming intervention that reinforces the importance of education as a catalyst for sustainable development in Oro Kingdom.
