Comrade Mohammed Oywor Congratulates Yahaya, Ododo, Oyibo on New Year Celebration

Governor Yahaya Bello and the incoming Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo have been congratulated on the occasion of new year celebration.

The immediate past Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Kogi State wing who was equally a member of Teachers Reconciliatory Committee for Ododo/Joel project, Comrade Idris Mohammed Oywor in his congratulatory message while speaking with news men in Lokoja wished them a happy celebration and expressed hope that the new year will be filled with pleasant surprises.

Comrade Idris applauded recent improvement in staff welfarism particularly Local Government’s Teachers and staff whose salaries has jerked up to seventy percent.

He explained that the development had rekindled the hope that better things are ahead of civil servants in the state.

Comrade Idris equally praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his intervention in the payment of the WAEC fees of Ss3 students noting that the gesture has gone a long way to assist parents who are struggling with economic realities in the country.

The immediate past NUT. Publicity Secretary urged the people of the state to continue to pray and support their leaders noting that patriotism connotes support to leaders in authority even if their policy is against individuals interest.

He equally felicitate with the traditional rulers and illustrious sons and daughters of Kogi West senatorial district on the occasion and whished them a happy new year.
