Eid-el-Kabir: NGIJ Felicitates with Muslims, Sympathizes With Victims of Terrorist Attacks

The Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) has urged Nigerians to be steadfast, resilient and prayerful amidst the insecurity challenges facing the country.

NGIJ in a statement signed by its National President, Ayoyemi Mojoyinola and Public Relations Officer, Femi Oyewale on Friday, felicitate the Muslim faithful in this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Mojoyin advised Muslims across the country to celebrate with modesty and be security conscious before, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

“At The Guild, we facilitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in the country on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir. We also used this opportunity to sympathize with the victims of terrorist attack in Kuje Correctional centre, Abuja and Presidential convoy in Katsina state.”

NGIJ, therefore, tasked Federal Government to step up security architecture across the country, adding that this is the best time to deploy technology for the security of the nation.

The President appreciated NGIJ members for their support and commitment towards Guild’s programmes and activities.
