High Definition Film Academy Wraps Principal Photography On The Quiet, A Powerful Four-part Limited Series

1 Mins read

High Definition Film Academy (HDFA) is pleased to announce the successful completion of principal photography on its new four-part limited series, The Quiet. Produced with the Academy’s students serving across cast and crew positions, the series is a gripping and timely exploration of insecurity, collective responsibility, and the human cost of indifference in contemporary society.

With the haunting question, “What is the cost of silence?”, and the poignant tagline, “Remember Their Names,” The Quiet challenges audiences to confront the normalization of suffering and to rediscover empathy, courage, and civic engagement. Through an intimate, character-driven story, the series seeks not merely to entertain, but to inspire meaningful national conversation and positive action.

At a pivotal moment in Nigeria’s history, The Quiet stands as a testament to the power of storytelling to illuminate difficult truths, honor victims and survivors, and encourage citizens to reject apathy in favor of hope and responsibility.

The production also exemplifies HDFA’s commitment to hands-on training, empowering the next generation of Nigerian filmmakers to create works of artistic excellence and social impact.

Post-production is now underway, with the series set for release soon. Additional details regarding the premiere and distribution will be announced in the coming weeks.
