Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua, has called for end to corruption at all levels.

He disclosed this at the Anti-Corruption Star Award, organised by Step Up Nigeria, in Ikeja, Lagos State, noting that doing the right thing shouldn’t be limited to a person.

Executive Director, Step Up Nigeria, Onyinye Ough, said fighting corruption begins from the training given to a child.
According to her, the foundation has educated over 40,000 students on anti-corruption and put in place the Anti-Corruption Star Award to celebrate people who have taken extraordinary steps in promoting culture integrity.

Programme Associate, Rilwan Abuh, said the aim of the foundation is to help build bridges to tackle corruption and demand service accountability from leaders in public spaces.

He further revealed that the foundation is about to expand reach to more states, besides Lagos, Abuja, Nasarawa and Imo.
The award category and winners are: Junior Young Anti-Corruption Star (Jedidiah David), Senior Young Anti-Corruption Star (Sang-Oluwaseyi Tadagbe), Out-of-School Anti-Corruption Star (Yetunde Olupo), Teacher Anti-Corruption Star (Mercy Babajide), Parent Anti-Corruption Star (Mrs. Folashade Adepoju), Special Recognition Award (Orji Emmanuel Kanu and Mr. Emmanuel S.
