June 12: Yahaya Seriki Reflects on OTOGE Gains, Calls for Consolidation in 2027

1 Mins read

A Stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC), Amb Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari MFR said OTOGE revolution has redefined political landscape and governance in Kwara State.

Yahaya Seriki stated this in a statement issued on Thursday to celebrate 2025 Democracy Day in Nigeria.

According to him, June 12 is a unique day in political history of Nigeria because Nigerians downplay religious and ethnical sentiments to elect late MKO Abiola during an election adjudged to be credible, free and fair.

Seriki while reflecting on his political participation noted OTOGE revolution put a stop to godfatherism, maladministration, impunity and high-handedness in governance of the state.

The APC Chieftain commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his outstanding performance, humility and strategic positioning in attracting more federal government presence to Kwara State.

His words: “We are proud of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He has delivered his campaign promises and implementing impactful programmes to improve citizen’s well being. In the last six years, Kwarans have witnessed the difference in terms of Workers’ welfare, infrastructural development, simplicity in governance and prudent management of resources. Our leader has prove to Kwarans that they made right choice in 2019 by saying enough is enough (OTOGE) through their votes.”

Yahaya Seriki also used the opportunity to congratulate President Bola Tinubu on his second year in office anniversary, noting that the President bold steps saved the country from doom. He added that Nigerians are now feeling positive impacts of his administration through increased allocations to sub nationals, crash in food prices and promotion of local manufacturing industries via ‘Nigeria First Policy’.

He therefore implored Kwarans to continue to support Abdulrazaq administration and President Bola Tinubu, stating that All Progressives Congress remains the only people’s friendly political party in the country.
