KWAGA offers Prayers for Tinubu, AA, others

Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), one of the recognized Support groups by the APC National chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu held an interdenominational prayers at the Stella Obasanjo Multi-purpose Hall for APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, the three APC senatorial candidates; Senator Oyelola Ashiru, Senator Sadiq Umar and Mallam Saliu Mustapha.

Islamic and christian clerics offered prayers for successful elections of Rt Hon Speaker Yakubu Danladi Salihu among others.

APC House of Representatives candidates; Hon Muktar Shagaya, Hon Yinka Aluko, Hon Tajudeen Abioye, Hon Raheem Tunji Ajuloopin, Hon Omar Bio, Hon Adamu Saba among other Kwara State House of Assembly candidates in kwara state.

Leading Islamics clerics at the prayer session are Sheikh Umar Babatunde Sohibul-Bayan and Imam Abdulazeez Rabiu, the Chief Imam of Ayedun town while the christian clerics are led by Pastors Sam Adeboye and David Olakunle.The clerics did not only prayed for hitch-free electioneering campaigns, electoral victories but also for the God’s guidance when they eventually win.

Candidates represented at the prayers session include Senator Oyelola Ashiru represented by his aides, Mr Bolaji Raji, Rt Hon Yakubu Danladi Salihu represented by Mallam Saliihu Woru, Hon Yinka. Aluko represented by Mr Galad, HonTajudeen Abioye represented by Mr Bashir Lawal and Hon Adamu Saba represented by Mr Salihu.

Also present are the Kwara State House of Assembly APC candidate for ilorin south constituency, Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi, Special Assistants to the kwara state governor on women affairs and political affairs (Kwara Central); Hajia Aishat Bolanle Ismail Iyalamule and Hon Abubakar Sulaiman SaiKayi respectively.

Other dignitaries at the occasion are Ilorin south elder, Alhaji Nuru Baba Podo, the group’s patron; Pa Lasisi Adewuyi Olohunyo , Professor Najeem Ijaiya among other party stalwarts and women leaders.

The State Cordinator of the APC support group, Hon. Yinka Yusuf Erubu in his speech at the occasion narrated the peace iniatives, mobilisation efforts and campaign drives of the group towards the success of all APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.
