KWSG Presents Modern Ultrasound Equipment to KWASUTH

In a bid to enhance the capacity of Kwara State University Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, in order to provide sound and quality healthcare delivery, the Kwara State Government has again presented modern an Ultrasound equipment, capable of providing 24 hours services to the hospital.

The Chief Medical Director, Dr Bola Ahmed who was represented by the Chairman Medical Advisory Council, Dr Idowu Ogunlaja disclosed this in ILORIN today, during the presentation ceremony, at the hospital premises.

Receiving the equipment and its accessories on behalf of the hospital, the CMD who was represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Council Dr Idowu Ogunlaja described the gesture by the current administration in the state, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq; “as another landmark achievement, that will go a long way in the provision of affordable quality healthcare, to the people of Kwara State and its environs”.

Dr Ahmed therefore commended the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his various laudable projects across the state, most especially, in the health sector, which is paramount to the wellbeing of the people.

He thereafter pledged judicious use of the equipment, in order to improve access to quality healthcare services to the people.

Among the modern equipment presented were state-of-the-art ultrasound Scanning Machine, sophisticated Solar Panels and its accessories for efficient delivery of services.

The presentation was witnessed by the Hospital Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Aliyu, the representative of the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam; Mrs. Abdullah Fatimoh, the Store Officer, Mr. Karim Babatunde and other staff of the KWASUTH.
