“Never Trust the Governor Again” – Oba Advises Kwarans

1 Mins read

Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the gubernatorial candidate of the Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alh. Abdulwahab Oba has advised Kwarans never to trust the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, ever again.

Oba, in a statement issued in Ilorin on Thursday, said the consequences of another uneventful and deceitful four years term of AbdulRahman whose pastime is lying and dividing the people will be too much for the state to bear.

“In 2019, the majority of the people had confidence and trust in the governor, but he betrayed everyone without a blink. Today, where are the major players in the political movement that brought him up? Everyone has been betrayed one way or another”, Oba said.

According to Oba, “the state governor is back to his familiar terrain of spewing falsehood and deliberately misleading Kwarans by claiming wrongly that the previous administration got more funds than his lifeless administration.

“Kwarans should never again believe a lawless, deceitful and unaccountable governor, who rather than admitting his failure and working harder, prefers diverting the attention of the people from issues of accountability and non-performance to unproven allegations.

“The governor told lie about the split diamond underpass, told lie about Kwara Hotel, told lie about the state’s debt profile, told lie about the civil service and now telling another lie about the state’s financial income.

“The unstable state of mind of the governor might be the reason the national body of his party, the Governors’ Forum and other national bodies do not consider him fit for any solid, sound and desirable responsibility.

“Any leader whose words cannot be believed is not only irresponsible but unworthy of leading”.
