NGIJ Meets Aragbiji of Iragbiji: The Monarch Lauds Oyetola on Infrastructural Development, Health Insurance Scheme

When he came on board, there was this conception that All Progressives Congress, APC, Government wanted to inflict pain on the people of Osun State with the changes of Name of Schools, a Common Uniform, debt and deplorable condition of Inter state roads, courtesy of previous administration, but he made sure he returned the Schools back to its previous owners.He reinvented Primary Health Centers by Wards in all the Local Government Areas in the State, revitalizing it with Medical Equipment, Personnels, which has made the People stop patronizing quack doctors.

The Aragbiji of Iragbiri, Oba Abdul Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV has applauded Governor Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola over implementation of Odun State Health Insurance Scheme, infrastructural development, staff welfare and distribution of dividend of democracy to Osun State residents.

The Monarch while receiving the Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) delegation at his Palace on Saturday showered accolades on Governor Oyetola for lifting embargo placed on the Monthly Council of Obas Meeting by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, noting that he has created an enabling environment for the Obas to contribute their quotas to the development of the State.

His words: “Aside the State witnessing tremendous transformation courtesy of the Governor Oyetola administration, he also introduced the Osun State Health Insurance Scheme, OSHIS, in which all the Traditional Rulers are enjoying, the people of Osun State with over 48,000 Physically Challenged Persons are benefiting.This is the first of its kind in Nigeria.

“The Governor opened several roads to the delights of the people In the state. We had a problem with a road for over 30 years between Kelebe and Iragbiji, this was fixed within Two Years he got into power. Igbajo Road, Ejigbo-Ede Road, Yakoyo Road, Ife-Ibadan Expressway was also fixed by his administration”.

Oba Olabomi described Governor Oyetola as the Messiah of Osun State who stabilized the state by delivering good governance to the delight of the People of Osun.

He added that Governor Oyetola administration has rehabilitated Iragbiji township and roads in other communities amidst huge debt inherited from his predecessor.

According to him, Governor Gboyega Oyetola has rehabilitated Ada-Iragbiji road, Ede-Ejigbo road, Yakoyo -Efe/Ibadan express road and 16.5km Osogbo-Kelebe-Iragbiji road with scarce resources in the state.

Oba Olabomi said the present administration is paying full salary and pension/gratituity of retirees in the face of economic challenges in the country
