Rain Disaster: Ilorin Anchor Commiserates with Victims

Ilorin Anchor Men and Women Initiative has expressed her sympathy with Ilorin emirate communities over the devastation caused by the rainstorms that occurred between 19th and 20th September, 2020. 

This is contained in a statement issued in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital and signed by the Secretary of the association, Barr. Abdulrahaman Olawale Solagberu stated that, “the association expressed sadness over the disaster and sympathizes with all those that are affected by the disaster.”

The statement therefore call on government at all levels, philanthropists, sociocultural groups and faith-based organisations to come to the aid of victims to cushion the negative impacts of the storm.

It also sympathises with HRH, Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, HE, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, Executive Governor, Kwara State, IEDPU, Ilorin Emirate council and the good people of Ilorin Emirate.

The association however prayed to Allah to protect lives and our property as well as ease the affairs of the citizenry of Ilorin emirate as well as that of the whole country in general.
