The Trade Union Congress (TUC), Oyo State chapter, yesterday, vowed to mobilise for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, as directed by the national body of the labour centre.

The state Chairman of TUC, Emmanuel Ogundiran, while speaking with The Guardian in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, said state councils would comply with the stance of the labour centres.

“We are one united family. The directive of the national body will be followed by all state councils,” he said.

Meanwhile, the state Chairman of NLC, Pastor Kayode Martins, said he would still discuss the matter with members of the union when he returned to Ibadan.
