Kaltungo LG Chairman Iliya Suleiman, Oversees NG-CARES Cash Transfer Distribution, Commends FG

The Executive Chairman of Kaltungo Local Government Council, Honorable (Dr.) Iliya Suleiman (Togor Yamban Kaltungo), has paid a visit to the operational station of the NG-CARES Conditional Cash Transfer Program in Kaltungo local government area of Gombe state.

The program, sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aims to provide financial relief to vulnerable citizens, helping to ease economic hardship.

During his visit, Iliya Suleiman actively supervised the distribution of cash and ATM cards to beneficiaries, ensuring a smooth and transparent process.

Under this initiative, recipients received varying amounts of financial assistance—₦25,000, ₦45,000, and ₦70,000—depending on their eligibility and classification within the program.

Expressing his appreciation, Iliya Suleiman commended the Federal Government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their commitment to supporting Nigerians through such initiatives.

He acknowledged the program as a crucial step in alleviating economic hardship, particularly for vulnerable individuals and families. He also reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to collaborating with both federal and state authorities to ensure that similar initiatives reach the grassroots, fostering sustainable development and economic empowerment in Kaltungo Local government area.
