Asiwaju Ashiru Commends Kogites for Their Massive Turn-Out for Tinubu

Electorates in Kogi state have been commended for turning out emass to vote for All Progressive Congress Party on the just concluded election.

Kogi State commissioner for Finance Ashiwaju Ashiru Idris gave the commendation while reacting to the victory of Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the just concluded election.

The commissioner said the victory belongs to all Nigerians particularly the electorates who trooped out to cast their votes.

He appluded the efforts of Governor Yahaya Bello for creating the enabling environment for peace to reign before during and after the election emphasizing that security is paramount to the agenda of the present admiration.

The commissioner urged those in opposition to close rank with the ruling party as expected of patriotic citizens saying Nigeria belongs to all citizens.

He expressed positive hope that the country would be great and urged Kogites to work together for the success of the state and the country at large.

On the clarion calls for him to contest the gubernatorial election, Ashiwaju Idris who disclosed his readiness to contest said he has obtained the form and consultation ongoing for the realization of his ambition.

He said he has been a member of the New Direction Team for the past seven years noting that he is ready to build on the legacy laid by Governor Yahaya Bello.
