
Individuals and cooperate organisation have been urged to always initiate programs that will improve the living condition of the less privilege in the society.
Branch Leader eader, Fidelity Bank Lokoja, Mr Nuhu Omale made the apeal shortly after the distributions of food items to the less privileged in Lokoja.
Mr Omale said the gesture was part of the Cooperate Social Responsibility of Fidelity Bank in collaboration with the State Government to assist the less privilege.
Tagged Fidelity ‘Food Bank’ according to him, the Branch Leader said the gesture which will spread across the thirty six states of the federation has already touched the lives of over one thousand people in Kogi State.
He recalled the visit of the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Kogi State to inaugurate the North Central Food Bank Initiative and appealed to illustrious sons and daughters of the State to emulate the precept.
On assesibility of loan facilities and other empowerment schemes, the Branch Leader said Fidelity Bank partners with Small / Medium Scale Enterprises holders in terms of credit facilities without collateral and of low interest rate.
He also disclosed that the finance institution also initiate ‘Fund Her’ loans scheme, specifically for women to enable them engage in businesses to reduce poverty and youth restiveness.
He maintained that the Bank, apart from giving out food items also assist people with household equipment including grinding machine, sowing machine and other valuables that can assist in income generation.
In their remarks, two beneficiaries of the gesture, Mrs Ileasu Barakat and Onimisi Joy thanked the Bank for its thoughtfulness to provide for the needy and promised to explore Fidelity Bank for knowledge in savings and income generation.⁹
