As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Yahaya Maikasuwa Santali Karshi has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah.

In his Eid message, Hon. Maikasuwa lauded the faithful for their devotion, self-discipline, and spiritual renewal throughout Ramadan. He emphasized that the sacred month has reinforced essential virtues such as patience, compassion, and generosity, urging Muslims to continue embodying these values beyond Ramadan.

“Through fasting, prayers, and charity, we have strengthened our faith and renewed our commitment to peace, unity, and love for humanity. As we rejoice today, let us carry forward these noble teachings and continue on the path of righteousness,” he said.

Addressing Nigerians across all faiths and ethnic backgrounds, Hon. Maikasuwa stressed the need for national unity and solidarity in the face of challenges. He called on citizens to embrace the core lessons of Ramadan—tolerance, kindness, and cooperation—to build a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

“Our nation is facing challenges, but together, with unity of purpose and collective resilience, we shall overcome. Let us reject division and work towards a Nigeria where every citizen is treated equally,” he urged.

Hon. Maikasuwa also prayed for the continued peace, stability, and development of the country, asking Allah (SWT) to accept the acts of worship of the faithful and bless Nigeria with progress and renewed hope.

“Eid Mubarak to all. May this season bring lasting blessings to our nation,” he concluded.

The Eid-el-Fitr celebration marks the end of a month-long fasting period observed by Muslims worldwide, symbolizing gratitude, spiritual fulfillment, and communal harmony.
