Kogi Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiru Presents 18-seater Bus to Isanlu-Wing of CAN

Kogi State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiru Idris has presented a brand new eighteen seater bus to Isanlu wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The 18-seater bus being presented by the Honourable Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiri Idris to Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Isanlu wing I Yagba East LGA of Kogi State.

Presenting the bus to the association in Isanlu, capital of Yagba East Local Government Area, The Commissioner who was represented by Former Chairman of the Council, Abdulrahzak Asiru Ijagbemi said the gesture is to ease the movement of the leaders and propagate the gospel of Christ in the community and beyond.

The Commissioner urged CAN and other religious organizations to continue to intensify prayers for the success of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He urged religious leader to continue in their advocacy for peace, love and communal living particularly now that Okun nation is going through turbulence period of insecurity.

Receiving the bus on behalf of the Isanlu wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria , the CAN Chairman, Reverend Segun Towobola prayed for God’s favour on the

Commissioner and appreciate his contributions towards the sustenance of religious harmony.

Present at the event were; pastor David Atteh the Yagba East LGA CAN Chairman, Venerable Doctor Ayo Moses and other ministers of God who appreciated the donor for the kind gesture.
