NGIJ Mourns Member, Qudus Adewole

The Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) has announced the sudden death of an active and beloved member, Mr Qudus Adewole aka Ebony.

Mr. Adewole, who was the Publisher of an Online News Platform, Ebony Media, died on Friday, April 1 after a protracted illness.

In a statement signed by NGIJ President, Mr Ayo Mojoyin, he expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident, adding that the deceased would be mourned for a month.

“The NGIJ is bereaved at this moment. We have lost a dear Comrade, a friend and brother, Mr Qudus Adewole aka Ebony to the cold hands of death after battling an ailment for a few weeks.

“He was a committed member, Muslim brother, genial gentleman, jolly fellow and lively Comrade.

“We will mourn him throughout the month of April as we pray for his family and loved ones for the fortitude to bear the sad loss, ” Mojoyin remarked.
