The North Central Zonal Coordinator of the Not Too Young To Perform (NTYTP) Movement, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Badrudeen Adewale Apaokagi, the Kwara State Coordinator of NTYTP, who died on Saturday, November 22, 2025, after a brief illness.

In a condolence statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Abuja, Aliagan described the late Apaokagi as “a respected community figure whose contributions to peace, development, and unity in the Ilorin Emirate will remain indelible.”

He noted that the news of his death came as a shock to the NTYTP family nationwide, stressing that Alhaji Apaokagi lived a life dedicated to service, youth engagement, and the upliftment of his community.

“We commiserate with the Apaokagi family, the Ilorin Emirate community, and the entire people of Kwara State over this painful loss.

“As Kwara State Coordinator of NTYTP, Alhaji Badrudeen Adewale Apaokagi was a man of integrity, humility, and community spirit. His departure is a big blow not only to his family, but to the movement and all who benefited from his guidance and goodwill.”

Aliagan also extended condolences to the National Executive Council of NTYTP, particularly the National Coordinator, Comrade James Ezema, describing the deceased as a strong pillar of support for youth participation and civic leadership.

He prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the departed community leader and grant him Aljanat Firdaus.

Alhaji Apaokagi has been laid to rest according to Islamic rites immediately after Asr prayer, where family, friends, and members of the community gathered to pay their last respects.

May Almighty Allah grant him the best of His abode.
