NYSC HIRD: Service to Humanity , NYSC Kwara Boss

The National Youth Service Corps, Kwara State earlier on Thursday held her first quarter of 2024 Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers, HIRD, programme in Idofian community.

As the popular adage  says “Health is wealth” The HIRD was designed by the NYSC for rural dwellers to have access to free medical care.

While declaring the programme open,  the State Coordinator, Mr Onifade Olaoluwa Joshua said the scheme was established for unity and national development. He further explained that the free medical care is part of the scheme contribution to the national development and service to humanity.

The Coordinator enjoined the members of the community to take the advantage of the programme to advance their medical status.

The Oludofian of Idofian,His Royal Highness, Oba Muhammad Ademola who was represented by the Alhaji Balogun Disu appreciated the kind gesture NYSC extended to their community and encouraged all villagers to corporate with the corps medical personnel and  make use of medications administered to them as instructed.
