
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aspirant for the Abia Central Senatorial seat, Rt. Hon. Sam Onugbo, has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement made available to journalists, Onugbo described Kalu as an outstanding leader whose commitment to national service and grassroots development has continued to inspire confidence among party faithful and Nigerians at large.

Onugbo, also praised Kalu for his strategic role in strengthening the party’s structure within the state.
According to him, Kalu’s leadership has brought renewed hope and unity among party members, positioning the APC as a formidable force in Abia’s political landscape.
“Your life has been marked by remarkable achievements and selfless service to humanity. As Deputy Speaker, you have demonstrated exceptional legislative acumen and a deep understanding of the needs of the Nigerian people,” Onugbo stated.
He further commended Kalu for his advocacy for equity, good governance, and inclusive representation, adding that his contributions at the National Assembly have continued to impact positively on national development.
Onugbo expressed confidence that Kalu would continue to excel in his current role and beyond.
The senatorial aspirant also used the occasion to pray for God’s continued guidance, protection, and wisdom upon Kalu as he carries out his responsibilities. He wished him many more years of good health, strength, and impactful service to the nation.
