EID-UL-FITR: Ashraaf Islamic Foundation Felicitates Muslims, Prays for Nigeria and Global Peace

1 Mins read

The Ashraaf Islamic Foundation, under the leadership of Imam Dr. Sharafudeen Abdulsalam Aliagan, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the sacred month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message signed by the Foundation’s Director of Communications and Information, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan and released in Abuja the Nigeria nation’s capital to commemorate the festival, the Foundation praised Almighty Allah for granting Muslims the strength, patience, and spiritual fortitude to observe the month-long fasting, prayers, and acts of charity.

The statement described Ramadan as a period of profound reflection, self-discipline, and renewed devotion, urging Muslims not to abandon the virtues cultivated during the holy month. It emphasized that the lessons of piety, humility, sacrifice, and compassion should remain a lifelong commitment beyond Ramadan.

“As we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, we call on all Muslims to sustain the spiritual gains of Ramadan by upholding righteousness, peaceful coexistence, and unwavering faith in Allah,” the statement read.

The Foundation also offered prayers for Nigeria, calling on Allah to grant wisdom, justice, and divine guidance to the nation’s leaders as they continue to shoulder the responsibility of governance. It stressed the need for leadership driven by integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people.

Furthermore, the Ashraaf Islamic Foundation expressed deep concern over rising global tensions and conflicts in the Middle-East. It prayed fervently for lasting peace, particularly in regions affected by ongoing crises, including the tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, as well as other troubled parts of the world.

“We beseech Almighty Allah to restore peace, unity, and stability across nations, and to soften the hearts of leaders towards dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation,” the statement added.

While congratulating Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, the Foundation encouraged the faithful to embody the spirit of love, tolerance, and generosity that defines Islam, and to extend kindness to all humanity irrespective of differences.

The Ashraaf Islamic Foundation concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration, praying that Allah accepts their worship and grants them continued blessings, mercy, and guidance.

Eid Mubarak!
